If you’re planning on buying a bike, you may find the options can be overwhelming. This can especially be the case if you’re just getting into riding. Before shelling out any cash, here are two questions you should ask yourself:
What are you planning on doing with the bike?
Be honest, do you know where you’re planning on riding your bike, or have you given any thought as to who you will riding with? This can determine the type of bicycle you should purchase. If you’re interested in taking on some of the mountain trails in the Denver area – such as Dakota Ridge (Morrison) or Apex (Golden) – then you’re going to want a mountain bike. If you’re interested in riding around the metro area, then a road bike or cruiser is definitely the direction to go.
How much are you willing to spend?
At First Glance
One of the first things that many people notice about the Denver Bicycle Cafe is that our business is a bit of a hybrid. Not only are we a bicycle repair shop, but we are also a coffee shop and tap house. It’s a great combination; one that we feel provides a true snapshot of Colorado culture in the mile high city.
